Set in shadow of the impressive Howgills, in the heart of the Yorkshire dales, we at Scrogg house farm are completing the conversion of a barn and an old smithy into a 2 bed and a 1 bed holiday cottage. These have been open since July 2018, with excellent feedback and high occupancy rates (so book early to avoid disappointment 🙂 )
The properties benefit from access to our two fields (sharing with our own animals), access & fishing rights to the river Rawthey from our land, and access to the footpaths leading into Sedbergh – or up onto the Howgills. We happily welcome well behaved dogs (contact us if you have any queries around this).
The cottages are completed to a high standard, offsetting exquisite period features, original exposed stone work & beams and alike with modern conveniences such as underfloor heating and spacious accommodation complimented by those facilities that make exploring the dales an altogether more pleasant experience even when the weather turns against you ( including a shared drying / laundry / boot room – complete with dog/boot shower)
