1 Bed Holiday Let Yorkshire Dales Sedbergh.

Named after a previous farm owners Speight Cottage is a sympathetically converted old smithy / workers cottage with stunning views over the river Rawthey.  This one bed cottage is set in a quiet corner of the Rawthey Valley, approx 1 mile outside the village of Sedbergh

The sympathetic conversion has exposed timbers and stonework and combines with modern conveniences of underfloor heating / modern kitchen and bathroom to give a exquisite combination of both old and new.

The location is centrally located for access to both the Yorkshire dales and the Lake district.(Kendal is a 12 miles, Hawes 16 miles).

The accommodation consists of a kingsize bed, combined kitchen living area complete with wood burning stove in the old fireplace, and a shower room. Outside a patio seating area extends the living space with further views up and down the valley – complete with a hot tub installed to help you relax or to ease the strains of the local walks / runs over the Howgills or dales.

One well behaved dogs is allowed – (contact us to discuss if you would like to bring more) and to compliment the cottage a washing / drying room complete with dog/boot shower is provided (shared with one other cottage on site).

We encourage bookings Friday – Friday- or short breaks Fri-Mon & Mon-Friday  for peak season (April/Sept) – out of peak season we are more flexible

Check in time is now 4pm (due to extra Covid related cleaning activities), and check out by 10am on the morning of your departure.
